Co-hosted workshop “Deepfakes or (Co-)Creativities?: Music, AI, and Digital Media,” during JUPAS Information Week 2023, organized by the Faculty of Arts at the University of Hong Kong. Dated May 24, 2023.

Paper (co-authored with Cheng-Zhi Anna Huang), “An Inter/Transdisciplinary Dialogue:
From AI Song Contest, Collaborative Songwriting, to Critical Technology Studies,” accepted for presentation at the 68th Annual Meeting of the Society for Ethnomusicology (SEM), to be held on October 19-22, 2023 in Ottawa, Canada. 

Appeared as an invited panelist at the “AI & Music Industry” forum in Stockholm, Sweden, co-organized by IFPI Sverige (International Federation of the Phonographic Industry) and STIM (Swedish Performing Rights Society). Dated May 16, 2023.

Invited visit to the MUSAiC lab in Stockholm, Sweden. 

Invited to serve on the program committee for HCMIR23: 2nd Workshop on Human-Centric Music Information Research, to be taken place as a satellite event for the 24th conference of the International Society for Music Information Retrieval (ISMIR 2023) in Milan, Italy (November 5-9, 2023).

Invited visit o Sony CSL in Paris, France as a Director of the AI Song Contest (AISC) Foundation (Dutch: stichting), as Sony CSL hosted the inaugural AISC Artist Residency (April 17-23, 2023).  

Served as an invited expert juror at the 2023 Human & Machine Song Contest, hosted by Cal Performances at the University of California, Berkeley. Dated April 22, 2023.
